Seasonal Employment Opportunities
Saxon Golf Course takes pride in providing excellent customer service to our guests and is continually seeking highly motivated applicants for seasonal positions. These positions are part-time positions and require the applicant to be available at least 12 hours/week. Applications are accepted for candidates that take pride in their work. Candidates should be available from April thru October. Listed below are the positions that currently have openings.
Clubhouse Attendant
The goal of this position is to welcome the guests to the facility and engage with them during the check-in process.
- Check-in process
- Merchandise organization & promotion
- Tee time reservation
- Answering phone calls
- Management of the tee sheet
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Starter/Ranger
The goal of this position is to ensure the customer enjoys their visit to Saxon Golf Course and provide assistance and promote upcoming events to the customer.
- Manage the tee sheet schedule and the first tee
- Ensure golf carts are available for all guests
- Record cart number, and tee off time in the provided iPad
- Patrol the golf course to monitor pace of play, and inform golfers of keeping the golf carts out of sensitive areas, assist with any situation they may have
- Promote the golf course and offerings inside the clubhouse
- Report to the starter with updates of course conditions & pace
- Time permitting, provide assistance upon request to other employees
Cart Attendant
The goal of this position is to ensure all guests are provided with a clean cart.
- Distribute golf carts to the staging area
- Routinely empty the trash cans on the course and pick up litter in the process
- Cleaning and rotation of each golf cart after use
- Assist the event manager with golf outing set-up and assigned tasks
